The halls are decked and songs of harmony and joy are ready to be heard as Shangri-La Plaza launches Holidaze with its highly anticipated Christmas Tree Lighting on November 5, Saturday, 6:30PM at the Grand Atrium.

Christmas 2022 at the Shang promises to be dazzling and bright beginning with the annual ceremony that brings the community together to celebrate the year’s most wonderful time. As always, Shangri-La Plaza sparkles at every turn, and lights up the center of the city with a huge and beautiful hanging Christmas Tree for the first-time ever.

Renowned Filipino performers and upcoming musical acts are set to mark the event and serenade mall guests. Catch Jed Madela, the first Filipino to win the World Championships of Performing Arts title, and one of the world’s most awarded chorales the Philippine Madrigal Singers, as they perform a repertoire fitting for the happy season. Joining them are the young talents of Contemporary A cappella Singers Association (CASA), a student-organization based in Ateneo de Manila University.

As a leading lifestyle destination and hub for everything culture and the arts, Shang’s partners from the diplomatic community such as the Embassies of Japan, Argentina, and France, as well as regional and national collaborators like Orgullo Kan Bikol, Tindahang Rizalenyo, DTI Albay, and the Philippine Fashion Coalition are expected to be present.

The grand hanging Christmas Tree Lighting also signals the start of an amazing holiday line-up of events and activities that bring cheer and the magic of Christmas. From jolly St. Nick dropping in to check who’s been naughty and nice, to exciting train rides to fully enjoy the Holidaze, don’t miss out on November 5, Saturday at 6:30PM as Shangri-La Plaza starts a Christmas celebration unlike any other.
