SM City Sta. Mesa launched the holiday season on October 26, 2024, with its grand “City of Lights” Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, filling the mall with festive excitement and holiday spirit.

In her welcoming remarks, Mall Manager Ms. Joy Arsenio expressed her joy at ushering in the season with this cherished tradition. The event was further elevated by Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, who delivered a heartwarming speech that captured the season’s spirit of togetherness and joy.

The centerpiece of the evening was a spectacular 45-foot Christmas tree, adorned with luxurious gold and red decorations. The lighting of the tree was a magical moment, accompanied by an electrifying performance by the Madison Performers and guest star Jerome Ponce, who delighted the crowd with a special appearance.

Adding a touch of magic, Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, spreading holiday cheer to guests of all ages. The “City of Lights” theme filled the mall with a radiant atmosphere, transforming SM City Sta. Mesa into a must-visit destination for holiday celebrations with family and friends.
