89th Season Shows

First, a staged reading and lots of laughter. REP Unplugged: Staged Readings Reimagined kicks off the season on March 21, 22, 28, and 29, 2026 at the REP Eastwood Theater with two beloved classic comedies. Noel Coward’s Private Lives, directed by REP’s Artistic Director Jeremy Domingo, and Anton Chekhov’s The Proposal, directed by Cara Barredo, are set to bring raw, hilarious performances that audiences can appreciate and experience.

Second, a musical and the pursuit of one’s greatest ideals. The Man of La Mancha sets off on his journey on June 5 to June 28, 2026 at the REP Eastwood Theater. The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical unfolds in a grim Spanish dungeon where the author Cervantes must defend himself by narrating an imaginative tale. He transforms into Don Quixote, a self-proclaimed knight determined to see the world not as it is, but as it ought to be. Directed by Nelsito Gomez, in partnership with the acclaimed Manila Symphony Orchestra, the spectacular musical challenges everyone to dream big without limits.

Third, a fairytale and a dream come true. REP’s Theater for Young Audiences (RTYA) brings the magical Cinderella, A Tale of the Glass Slipper to the REP Eastwood Theater in August 2026! Joy Virata and Cara Barredo direct the story of our charming heroine who overcomes mistreatment from a hilariously wicked stepmother and outrageous stepsisters to finally go to the royal ball. With the help of her kind best friend, a silly rat named Putterman, and her magical Fairy Godmother, and facing a few twists and turns along the way, Cinderella reminds us that taking the first step is one thing you won’t ever regret.

Fourth, a Shakespearean comedy and the trials of true love. A cornerstone of Shakespeare’s comedic genius, REP revives a classical tradition with A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The course of true love never did run smooth in this tale of romantic entanglements. Four lovers and a troupe of amateur actors stumble into an enchanted forest and ignite a hilarious feud among the fairies. Witness the mischief and magic as Puck’s spells turn the world upside down. Directed by Jeremy Domingo in partnership with St. Scholastica’s College, A Midsummer Night’s Dream kicks off in September 2026 at Saint Cecilia’s Hall St. Scholastica’s College, Manila.
