Lalamove, the leading on-demand delivery platform, extended its immediate month-long support in providing humanitarian aid and logistical support to communities affected by the Northern Cebu Earthquakes.
In a significant effort to assist those impacted, Lalamove partnered with non-profit organizations to extend help to the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Bogo City, Tuburan, and San Remigio. These partners included Cebu People’s Action Center, Philippine Red Cross, and Kaabag Mandaue.

Multiple Lalamove trucks and motorcycles helped transport essential goods such as blankets, sleeping mats, bottled water, food packs, and medical supplies to the affected areas.
Djon Nacario, Managing Director of Lalamove Philippines, underscores Lalamove’s continued commitment to mobilize relief efforts for effective disaster response.
“In times of crises, Lalamove is always on standby to provide much needed assistance to transport aid to affected communities, even in Cebu. Since Lalamove is already present in the province, we acted swiftly and reached out to relevant stakeholders to help with their relief efforts in areas that needed immediate attention,” he stated.
“We were facing challenges on how to reach the affected communities due to lack of vehicles. But thankfully, Lalamove reached out to us to offer their trucks and vehicles so we can deliver aid in different areas who were hit by the earthquake,” Ruben Licera Jr., Cebu Provincial Head for Special Projects and Executive Director of the Cebu People’s Action Center, said.
Cebuanos’ top-of-mind truck delivery platform for relief efforts

As Cebuanos continue to rally together in times of need, Lalamove has become the trusted partner for on-demand truck delivery services, especially during relief operations and community initiatives across Cebu.
With Lalamove’s network of partner drivers in the province and wide range of vehicles from motorcycles to 6-wheel trucks, it has been the go-to solution for organizations, LGUs, and communities for transporting aid and essential goods during calamities.
Cebuano partner drivers were also always at the forefront of Lalamove’s relief operations, creating a more meaningful impact to their communities.
In 2021, Lalamove also supported relief efforts to help families who were displaced and affected by the devastation brought by Typhoon Odette in Cebu.
Lalamove has been operating in Cebu since 2018 and has also since been providing additional source of income to its partner drivers and logistics support to consumers and businesses in the province.
