The historic gem of Bataan is still rising from pandemic, and it still vibrant in many ways in promoting heritage and culture, as they present many more attraction to see before the year 2022 ends, under their recovery plan they take so much pleasure of the quarantine era as there to time to rebuild, and construct more place inside their one-of-a-kind resort.
In a recent media event, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar General Manager Jorge Vilanova reveal all their plans and projects that is set to be completed this 2022, one of them is the Marina area as they put Yacht club inside their 400 hectares property, they are also in full swing of upgrading their Filipino food selection in their home-grown resto, the La Bella, Kusina ni Nanay Maria and Café Del Rio, to complete the gastronomic journey in their resort.
Vilanova said that the past week since they reopen amidst pandemic beginning March of this year, they are averaging 2,800 local tourists weekly, and that’s keep them busy and giving the positive vibes in this challenging times.
As part of their recovery plan, Las Casas Filipinas De Acuzar continue the construction of some old houses they commission to rebuilt in the property, they meticulously held workshop in putting up detail by details of all the building originally made, such as making old school kind of bricks that bring back its authentic to its glory. Aside from historical value, Vilanova also discuss some technological tools they are using in manning the rich historic resort in Bagac, adapting to the latest trend that can be helpful in the operation.
Since its still pandemic, they aim to target guest coming from Visayas and Mindanao and promote their weekend alternative destination, that’s the very reason they also plan in putting up more workshop for all kind of Filipino artists, from art to fashion are all welcome in their classic and culturally rich resort.
Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar has 63 old houses, 41 of which are original and dating from Spanish colonial era to the pre-World War II, 23 of that are being use as accommodation.
